Southampton IVC is a non-profit making activity club, providing its' members with a wide variety of social, recreational, cultural and sporting activities in a friendly, relaxed environment. The emphasis is on making new friends who share your interests. It's also a great place to try out some new activities with others who enjoy them.

There is no "typical" member, just a common desire for a varied social life in friendly company. We are not a singles club and we have no religious or political affiliations. Most members are professional or like-minded individuals in their 20's, 30's & 40's. Many have moved into the area and are looking to make new friends or are just looking for a more active social life.
We're still fairly careful about deciding on membership of IVC, though. Event organisers open up their events, and often their homes, to all members and prospectives so we try to make sure that anyone who comes along to these events is known to at least a handful of people.
